Starting today, Cali Paddler has hats, visors, shirts and jerseys showcased for sale at West Coast Paddle Sports in San Diego.
"West Coast has long been a supporter of Cali Paddler and shares in our goal of uniting the paddlers in our state. We consider it a very big compliment to have them want to carry us and give their customers a chance to see what we are all about." explained Clarke Graves, Co-Founder of Cali Paddler.
As Cali Paddler continues its first year, they have worked hard to listen to feedback from paddlers. One of the common themes was wanting to see and try on products in-person. "We have enjoyed doing events as a vendor, because paddlers can feel first-hand how soft our shirts are, or see the quality of our embroidered hats. Now we can offer more people the chance to check out our products first-hand", Co-Founder Greg Gagnon explained. "I love that now you can put on one of our jerseys, walk to the next aisle to grab a paddle, and see how it fits when you simulate a stroke. That, to me, is important. Same with how a hat fits me when I am wearing my sunglasses."
Always important to Cali Paddler is the concept of embracing all paddle sports and the community. Which is why West Coast is such a perfect fit as they cater to SUP, Prone and Outrigger paddling. "In addition to great gear, West Coast has been a huge supporter of events, teams, individuals and paddle-related businesses. We look to them as great role-models in our community." added Clarke. "Hopefully Cali Paddler can someday have a positive impact like them".
Cali Paddler hopes to be in more stores in 2016, and will work with store owners in different regions to offer products that cater to the paddlers who shop there. Partnering with stores will also facilitate one of Cali Paddler's goals to learn about and support local conservation efforts throughout the state. It is our hope that we can collaborate with the businesses who feed our paddling addiction, and grow the stoke," explained Greg.
